A Message from the Casella Family

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to La Bottega of Howard Beach!

Our story is unique. Our father Salvatore started a gourmet Italian food importing business over 40 years ago, and we've grown up with a love of fantastic, fresh Italian food. We also love being around people, so we opened our La Bottega restaurant to share our passion for wonderful food with our neighbors from Howard Beach and beyond. (We were raised in Howard Beach, and we love it here!)

About La Bottega Howard Beach
Our restaurant is unique, too, in that, besides our incredible panini, we specialize in gelato and crepes. We also offer a scrumptious assortment of fresh cannoli, cakes and a variety of decadent desserts. Our 100% natural, unbelievably rich and creamy gelato is made by hand in small batches by Gabriele - and wait until you try the flavors. The pistachio gelato is made from the best pistachio nuts in the world, direct from Bronte, Italy. And to make a good thing even better, we specialize in a real Sicilian treat - gelato sandwiches made with brioche, a sweet Italian bread. Our customers also rave about our refreshing sorbet flavors, including seasonal specials. Our crepes come in both sweet and savory varieties.

Of course, La Bottega is famous for its panini - and we're very excited to bring this authentic taste of Italy to Queens. We think it's the next best thing to visiting "the old country."

For a cozy and intimate culinary experience, our dining room has been designed to seat 34 - so you'll be guaranteed personal attention and only the freshest food. It's like dining among family!
